JBM Fundraising Dinner

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” bg_position=”left top” bg_repeat=”no-repeat” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” bottom_padding=”30″][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
The JBM fundraising dinner was held annually from 2006 to 2009 on the first Saturday of October, which was close to John’s birthday. This event was the main fundraising activity for the JBM. The last JBM Dinner was held at 501 Receptions in Footscray on the occasion of John’s 60th birthday and as such it was felt an opportune time to bring to a halt the annual nature of the JBM Dinner and look at other fundraising opportunities.

Since then, the JBM has held successful film and trivia fundraising events.  Like the JBM dinner, these other fundraising events also provide an opportunity for John’s family, friends and associates to come together, socialise, learn about and support the work of the JBM.

Funds raised for the JBM are applied for the charitable purpose of providing scholarships and financial assistance to disadvantaged refugee and asylum seeker young people and their families.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_gallery type=”flexslider_style” interval=”3″ images=”617,618,619,620,621,622,616″ layout=”3″ gallery_style=”1″ onclick=”link_image” custom_links_target=”_self” img_size=”640×400″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
